The Photo Center is pleased to announce that Vicki DeVico, President of the Monmouth Camera Club, will be joining us to teach the basics of Photoshop CS5. Your class will include four consecutive, 1.5 hour sessions each, plus 30 minutes of question & answer.

All Things Canon

Everything you ever wanted to know about Canon photography but were afraid to ask... FOR FREE! Professional Photographer, Rick Burk, will be our guest speaker. He will discuss his tips and techniques for nature, scenic, and travel photography. There will also be a demonstration of the latest Canon dSLR's and lenses.

This class will take place at Middletown Township Public Library; 55 New Monmouth Road, Middletown.

Advanced Guide to Nikon Digital SLR Photography

If you are passionate about photography and intrigued by high-end technology, then this seminar on Nikon Digital SLR cameras is for you! Spend two hours with a Nikon Representative learning about the advanced features, menus, and controls and see what all of the "buzz" is about with Nikon DSLR cameras such as the D90 (Advanced Users), D300s, and D700. Digital Photography 101

The two night class will consist of two, one and a half hour session, which is designed for everyone that owns a digital single lens reflex camera. This class is for beginners to intermediate students and will cover exposure, shutter speeds, aperture, iso, lighting, composition, depth of field, and overall camera instruction. Cost for this class is $75.00. Classes will fill up fast, so call to reserve your spot today. Class starts at 6:15.

David Guy Maynard Live Model Shoot

David Guy Maynard is an accomplished commercial photographer with a diverse background in nature, macro, advertising, and fashion photography. He applies creative and unique techniques to a variety of situations, which he shares in his seminars.

David joined us this summer to shoot LIVE models and share his portrait photography tips and techniques. In addition to the lecture, Tamron was in attendance at The BDC Studio, providing us with various lenses to demo. This seminar was loaded with practical and useful information for both working photographers and hobbyists.

Nikon Studio Portrait & Lighting Seminar

Join us next class (announced soon) for a Nikon Studio Portrait and Lighting interactive workshop. Nikon’s technical representative Chris Knapp will be demonstrating how the Nikon wireless flash system operates, as well as a demonstration of Camera Control Pro and Capture NX2 shooting and editing software. You will have a chance to see all the different Nikon cameras and lenses in a live photo shoot and then take turns trying out the equipment yourself! Models will be present to pose for portraits and create a professional studio shooting experience. The fee for the class is $49.99. Tickets should be purchased in advance at The Photo Center.
